Piña Coladas

Enjoying a delicious, tropical Piña Colada cocktail is the perfect way to have fun during the warm weather and lazy days of summer with friends and family.

First created in Puerto Rico in the 1950s, the Piña Colada was born out of necessity when a bar ran out of coconuts. Using pineapples instead it created a drink made with rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and ice. Garnishing it with a pineapple wedge or cherry completes the popular presentation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum
  • 3 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce coconut cream
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a hurricane glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge or cherry.
